Terms of Service

VOpilot provides software for voiceover professionals to track jobs and auditions, send invoices, collect payment through third-party processors, and manage contacts. We may update, add, or remove features over time.

You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) through our payment processor. Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and partial periods are not refunded.

To collect payment, you connect your own Stripe and/or PayPal account. Funds from your clients flow directly to you through those providers — VOpilot does not hold, control, or have any claim to those funds, and is not a party to the transaction between you and your client. You are the merchant of record and are responsible for fulfilling your work, for any chargebacks, disputes, refunds, and for all applicable taxes. Your use of Stripe and PayPal is governed by their respective agreements.

You retain all rights to the data and content you put into VOpilot. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you (including sending the emails and generating the invoices you request). You represent that you have the rights necessary to store the contact and client information you add.

Do not use VOpilot to break the law, send spam or unsolicited bulk email, infringe others’ rights, transmit malware, attempt to breach security or access other tenants’ data, or place an unreasonable load on the service. You are responsible for ensuring the marketing and reminder emails you send comply with applicable anti-spam laws.

VOpilot and its software, design, and trademarks are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer any ownership in VOpilot to you.

The service integrates with third parties such as Stripe, PayPal, Resend, and others. We are not responsible for those services, their availability, or their actions, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. VOpilot does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice; any figures or summaries (including tax categories) are for your convenience and should be verified with a qualified professional.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VOpilot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold VOpilot harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your content, your use of the service, your transactions with your clients, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using VOpilot and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or other users. On termination, your right to use the service ends; certain provisions (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
